Our multicultural staff at the International Patient Center (IPC) understands the special needs of international patients who seek care at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital home of the Texas Heart Institute. St. Luke's understands that visiting a hospital, especially in a foreign country, can be stressful and for that reason our IPC team is ready to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our IPC staff is dedicated to making patients and their families feel welcome and as comfortable as possible with special attention towards their cultural needs while seeking medical care at St. Luke's.

Our International team will assist you  with numerous special services and amenities that include: physician appointments and hospital scheduling; second opinions language assistance, travel arrangements and accommodations including airport transportation coordination,; hotel and long-term housing reservations, air/ground ambulance assistance, medical equipment purchasing, clinical liaison services, spiritual support for all faiths, special attention to  your cultural needs, and availability of a business center.
